2月22日 Ford Researchers Engineering Big Ideas
Ford’s closing the idea gap as it combines Ford engineer’s initiatives and customer vehicle requirements. You can ball your fists and pump it in the air with this research blending. That means, Ford’s got your ideas springing to life. Now, that’s what I call buyer recognition. Anyway, competition and customer expectations are tighter than ever before with the “what if” people in Ford Research and Advanced engineering are no “can do”. 2月17日 The 2009 Volkswagen IROC![]() The IROC is not your usual billing form or any kind of lease papers if that’s what you’re thinking. It’s an upright, four-seat sporty hatchback from Volkswagen - certainly surprising the world. It is low, wide and muscular with a visual straightness that will hypnotize you into driving it. 2月16日 Ford Mondeo Pics Released![]() Excited about how the new Ford Mondeo would look? Well, you are not going to wait any longer. You see, the very first pictures of the new vehicle have already been released despite that the company has scheduled that the vehicle would be making its very first public appearance at the upcoming 2007 Geneva Motor Show. According to the Ford Company, the new Ford Mondeo is going to give consumers the car that gives style, topnotch technology, and the best dynamics in just one vehicle. And this is not going to come as much of a surprise for the Ford Mondeo, even before it was upgraded has been given accolades and awards and has also been included each year in the top ten favorite cars of the US. Ford’s chairman and managing director for its British arm, Roeland de Waard, shares, “The exciting new Mondeo is very important to us. It's probably the most elegant car we've ever launched, and it's certainly the most technologically-advanced. Like the S-MAX, Car of the Year 2007, the new Mondeo will attract many new customers to our showrooms as well as delighting our loyal UK customer base.” So what exactly would the new Ford Mondeo bring? Well, I do know that it could be coming with a new Ford tie rod end and new parts. It would be showing off what the company describes as the Ford kinetic design. It would be seen with the vehicle’s rear lamps that are quite distinct. As per the interior of the vehicle, you sure
would also be feeling the kinetic design that the exterior has. There is a
higher beltline and the center console has been created so as to give drivers
and passengers easy access and use.
2月10日 Five Years For DaimlerChrysler’s SEATCHECK Program
For five years, DaimlerChrysler has been actively involved in keeping children safe from harm and injuries while riding in a vehicle. They have done this not through the Volvo way of putting in the safest Volvo parts but with their own style. DaimlerChrysler has got a program and it is called SEATCHECK. This program is meant to educate people about the importance of having child car safety seats. After all, crashes and collisions still remain to be the number reason why children get killed. Deb Morrissett is the Chrysler Group’s VP for regulatory affairs and she emphasizes, “A properly installed child safety seat could be the difference between life and serious injury for a child. Many of these serious injuries can be prevented with the proper use of child safety seats, but many parents and caregivers simply are not aware that their child's seat is installed incorrectly.” Indeed, education is a powerful tool to let people know about the importance of having child safety car seats. DaimlerChrysler is indeed doing ways so as to let people be conscious about such an issue and let them take the right road towards keeping child passengers safe and sound. 2月6日 2008 Saturn Astra replaces its Ion counterpart

Car maker PSA Peugeot Citroen has chosen nCode International to be the group with which they would be working with so as to test their products. nCode would be sharing with Peugeot their ICE-flow GlyphWorks 4.0 which is a software and it would be used to actually test and check the company’s products for reliability and durability. It was not an easy task for Peugeot for they had to try out the software for one year before they had finally decided that such a program could help out the company in terms of production and manufacturing. They did say that GlyphWorks from nCode is quite a powerful software despite it being easy to use. The program could also, perhaps, assist the company in creating more products like performance parts and efficient diesel programmers for their vehicles. “nCode’s software provides PSA Peugeot Citroën with an easy-to-use, standard solution powerful enough to process and manage over 800 gigabytes of data from different sources such as proving grounds, customer monitoring sites, and laboratory test rigs. We expect to realize significant productivity gains from accelerated testing, thus lowering our costs, as well as faster processing speed by being able to upload test data into an ASAM ODS data base,” proffers Jacques Mercier who is from Peugeot. On the side of nCode, its CEO, Brian Dabell, says, “nCode is delighted to have been chosen by PSA Peugeot Citroën. As a leading European manufacturer, PSA Peugeot Citroën had a number of unique requirements which I am pleased nCode could meet. This further illustrates how nCode’s products are well aligned to customer needs, and underscores the unique value that GlyphWorks provides.” Sneak Preview of 2008 Models from Automobile Mag
